Thank you for this information. As a woman after menopause, I am sure I suffered from a lack of testosterone. Thanks to an endocrinologist, I took DHEA over 2 years, 15 mg a day only though.
However, I think exercise is much more important than any supplements and I am a firm believer in food supplements.
According to my experience, the adrenal glands can substitute a lot of hormones that used to be produced by the ovaries. Regular exercise is key to entice them to do so.
Before the pandemic, I used to go to the gym 3 times a week for 1.5 hour workouts. Now I use a mini-trampoline and I have to say, this works much better than muscle resistance and cardio training.
One last word: I do not believe in the tests for hormones. I think hormone levels in the body are fluctuating. A single measurement therefore means very little. Instead it makes much more sense to listen to our bodies, study available information outside of mainstream publications and put in some effort to stay in shape. All the best!
